I miss when RTD was in charge of Doctor Who.

I miss when every episode had a new monster and world and time-setting. I miss when story arcs were subtle and crept up on you rather than being shoved in your face dragging on for far too long until they become tedious. I miss when there was bad-ass Black woman and sassy middle-aged woman who could stand up the Doctor, rather than skinny young white girls who look like super-models and can’t hold a storyline without a guy to save them. I miss when The Doctor acted like the scared, sad, 900 year old Timelord he is rather than a two-dimensional nine-year-old. I miss when PoC characters were important ones and didn’t exist only to die within the first ten minutes of the episode.

I miss the Doctor Who I fell in love with.
